Can anyone recommend a dedicated vibrato plugin? Whether it's a pedal style like the Boss VB-2 or completely unrelated to the hardware world. Why do vibrato effects seem so rare?

MeldaProduction's MFreeEffectsBundle includes MVibrato ;).
I did get a life,once...but it was faulty, so I sent it back.

The PSP Audioware B-Scanner has vibrato and chorus modes. Unfortunately, it was recently on sale from March 31st through April 3rd for $19.

However, there could be some online retailers that still reflect the sale price at this time or PSP Audioware might grant you the sale price if you contact them directly.

Can anyone confirm if this is actually a true vibrato effect?

I find it really confusing that every control in the screenshots on the Melda website use the term "tremolo" and that there isn't one mention of the word pitch or vibrato anywhere other than the name of the plugin.

Yes, it does true vibrato (controlled by the "Depth" parameter).. but it also does tremolo. I can understand why it might not look that way from the screenshots ;). Anyways, it's free, so why not simply download it and try it? :)

Perhaps tell him about the big red reminder box with the clickable Melda logo at the bottom of each gui that only goes away when you pay 49Euro/54USDollar for the 'professional' version?

Great. I will check it out. I just didn't want to download it if it was actually just a misnamed tremolo. Thanks!
