Hey
Im looking for some sort of effect that can make vocal sound wet / liquid / watery. Best way to describe would be if one could imagine something like Xoxos water.vst as an effect. And no, his waterberb plug is not what Im looking for either. Tried diffent granulators but it just sounds well..granular and not really wet or liquid.
Any suggestions highly appreciated:-)

Heavy use of phaser?
IIRC, Waves Metaflanger has an underwater preset and is really well-suited for trippy, gurgly effects.

This sound annoys me because it means the noise reducer is set too aggressive but nothing sounds more watery than a noise reducer such as waves x- or z-noise set too aggressive.

#2 on phasers, relatively fast say 2-3Hz, with a bit of feedback. pretty sure kids show in the 70's used to do this because of how people seem to believe that's the right sound. but probably lots of hybrid processes that get the same feel (a phaser with a rnd waveform would be good i think).
always freaks me out a tiny bit when people have heard of my vst. folks who must have been here a while back. ty.

I'd suggest a flanger for watery FX
If your plugin is a Synth-edit/synth-maker creation, Say So.

Not sure if it's what your looking for, but I made a track with a similar watery sound, not a very good one mind, but I used the Electribe EA-1 and it's delay effect.
I have slightly emulated this with MuLab's MuX modules. Specifically, I used the mono echo (short) module. But the Vintage Echo MK1 is also quite good at this.
I didn't use it on vocals either just the internal EA-1 sounds.
