Melda MTremolo works fine for me for both gating and ducking.
But I'd recommend it only if you already have the Melda package installed, and if you can cope with the Melda UI

Thanks. T-Force Trance Gate did the job for me. However, it's weird as the longest notes it allows are 32nds 
Did you already ditch all your compressors in favour of manual volume automation?Clip volume automation is free and highly editable
