Due to my poor english skills, there may me some spelling errors, and I'm sincerely sorry .
Dear All,recently I need implement a super bass effect for a Android music player. However, when i tried several simple way,i found that the results were very bad(when boost level goes to higher). Here are some of them:
1. 3-band equalizer,low shelve/mid band pass/and high shelve,those filters are casecaed.
2. 4th order low pass filter,and an all-pass filter.
3. two casecaed low pass filter and an all pass filter.
equalizer is better than others, however,no matter how much I adjust it,the bass effect will not go to be much better, and of cause, there is a peak clipping problem.
Is there a better way to implement it?
Thanks.

This is not a subject for the Samples forum, but for DSP:

Though personally I think the part of an Android device that sets air into motion (one cannot really call it a "speaker") is useless for anything under 200Hz. So a bass boost feature is a waste... Earbuds is another story...

Anyway, try again in the DSP section.
