Does anyone know what's happening with Nomad Factory and MAGMA.The plugin hasn't been supported for a long time and has been very buggy to a point that it's unusable.
I had not reply from their support team.

I'm waiting on updates to this myself. Dying to use it In FL Studio but it's unusable in it's current state. Would love to know if any progress is being made.

I also want it to be fixed. I bought it about a year ago when Don't Crack had a big sale. There was an old thread where plugivery explained the situation since Bernie (if I remember his name correctly) unfortunately passed away. He was the original developer of Magma. A year ago it was discussed in this thread below,

Magma PC VST seems stable to me... Are problems mostly with the Mac version?
This is a fun kit and I sure would like to jump in with the sale but I've read so much negativity about it. I just can't reproduce any bugs. I worked out the demo pretty good this morning but it's hard to tell if I am missing anything because there is so much to demo and so many combinations to try.

Magma is a crash fest here(win 10 - Reaper) and the plugivery site say's it's their intent to update it.
I understand a lot has happened since it's initial release but they have released two rack based products since Bernie's passing. I would think that porting Magma's effects to their new rack system might be easier than debugging someone else's code?
Maybe not.
I do like my Nomad Factory effects so I'll keep my fingers crossed.

And yet it is the biggest P.O.S.
What's your point? It worked for you this morning so it must work for everyone else?

Hi everyone,
Thanks for your comments, we're working with our developers to port our entire catalogue of plug-ins to a new framework, update them with a fresh new look and fix any and all outstanding issues you may have. This will take us a little time as we process alongside new product releases. The first ported update is set to be for BBE Sound plug-ins fairly soon, so keep updated with our dealers' newsletters.
We also hope to have a new website asap with all the newer plug-ins listed; on our to do list... If you'd like to check them out, please download and trial them here!

This is my main concern with buying plugins VS buying hardware.
If hardware support is dropped, you can find some technician to fix it while you can't find anyone to fix the plugin.
Looking forward to Nomad Factory update.
Cheers

Unfortunately, that's not always true, good luck getting that Alesis Andromeda or Hartman Neuron fixed for example.Detch wrote:This is my main concern with buying plugins VS buying hardware.
