Probably because it doesn't "have 0df filters." Buzzwords are important to some people, evidently. However, the presets have never done Strobe or Cypher justice.VariKusBrainZ wrote:Surprised this comment didnt get more comments since Diva is considered the God of analog emulation. At one point, I had manually ported over all my Alesis Andromeda presets to Cypher 1. I had to do a lot of it by ear and the results were the best I'd heard from any softsynths at the time. Unfortunately, I didn't back up the presets and lost them during an OS reinstall.

Some nice end of July deals at eSoundz.
Think I will go for Ultra Electronic Refill, 5 bucks is a nice price for 4GB worth of material (and that is the size when it is packed as the refill)

Big minus on Pocketmags. If you buy a magazine you already have a subscription to, they just give you a second subscription. WTF? Why would anyone want 2 digital subscriptions of the same magazine. Zinio just adds it to the end of your current subscription.

I wouldn't do without regularly backing up my files on an external hard drive, and having an extra external hard drive as a backup of the backup anymore. Really, hard drive crash, and game over.Rational wrote:Oh man... that's the worst. Talking about mags, I think this deal on the latest issue of Electronic Music is pretty good (especially for those in the UK).
A tenner yields a magazine devoted to the Sheffield sound (which has been so influental on electronic music) a 7 inch, and a 13 track download compilation.
https://electronicsound.co.uk/product/i ... yl-bundle/
I mean, users a selling that single for almost twice the amount, on Discogs

Get the Hip Hop one as well. A lot of great content in both for $5.Numanoid wrote:Some nice end of July deals at eSoundz.

Yep. I was going to mention that others should probably also get the hip hop one as well for an additional $5.
But when I checked my esounds account I may already have them? Are these what you received Num when you bought them? Thanks in advance for confirming.

With a digital subscription from Packetmags how do you access the DVD content?dzilizzi wrote:Big minus on Pocketmags. On one of the pages there is a code for the DVD. On the MusicTech site there is a tab for DVD contents. Select the magazine number and it takes you to WeTransfer where you put in the code. You get a zip file. If you are on PC you will have a headache unzipping it. But if you are on a Mac, you should have no problems.

But I think I will be using it for my UVI files, I have them backed up twice on HDD, and also I have access to the files in cloud storage in my UVI account.
So I can delete one of my backups on HDD, and save 60GB+. Should Zoolz go under, I still have access to the files on a HDD and also via UVI.
