How do you make this pluck sound?

It starts coming in around 1:22, it's the really gentle, short and wide pluck sound.. I think it has a distinct character and I really like it, perhaps the filtering plays a part in giving it that character? I'm just not sure if this is basic subtractive synthesis or what

As he seems to be playing a patch called "[something] Stabs [something]" on a Roland Alpha Juno, I'd look for something that's possible on one of those. So it is, it seems, analogue subtractive.
