I'm trying to match the production sounds of the late 1950's early 60's. Any thoughts/tips on this track to improve? thanks

Hey, that's a catchy song with a cool bouncy feel - after hearing it once, it was still in my head brushing my teeth 20 minutes later.
I don't think the vocal or snare are too loud, but they could be blended more, to get a sense of performance captured in a room. And the bass didn't come through as particularly full on my 2.1 monitors. Pretty much most bass in this era was either an upright with gut strings or a bass guitar with flatwound strings and a miked amp - thumpy but with a definite attack.

I'd have the intro whistle almost dry and more dynamics in the drums.
