Well.. In the end, I'd only need a sampler so basically synth is not NEEDed

I need my synth since I don't have a sampler. haha. I'm looking for a go to, possibly sampletank but right now, can't afford it. Don't want kontakt.

I recall hearing one of the pieces off of Switched on Bach in the 7th grade. My music teacher played it, the same piece on harpsichord and also on piano. We were asked which we preferred. I liked the synth version better and i wasn't alone.
People need synths because they create textures generally not possible with acoustic instruments. That's a nice rendition of Blue Monday, but I MUCH prefer the original.
