Hey everyone,
I wonder if any of you experienced the sounds of u-he vsts on techno like projects. Which u-he products fits well with the sounds inside of progressive techno tracks played by undercatt, oliver huntemann, victor ruiz,beckers,d-nox and township rebellion etc. ?
I mean a dark, solid synth by sound.Makes the track feel dark and dope.
Thanks in advance

Sorry to tell you vut uhe synths arent good for that. Especially for dope sound. Dark might be possible but with insane amount of work.
There is this old synth called Dark Virus by Dopeworx (closed company now). Its the best vst for these kind of sounds. But its available only on torrent sites.
I heard one of theyr creators is working on personal vst for techno and progressive sound. Synth is called DopAmine (search on youtube sounds fking mint).

You can use pretty much any synth to achieve the kind of sounds in the artists work you mention. It's more about layering and production than anything else. I would think any uhe synth would be more than up to the task.

You need to learn how to program a synth.Elektronisch wrote:Sorry to tell you vut uhe synths arent good for that. Especially for dope sound. Dark might be possible but with insane amount of work.

I love to produce Techno and I'm loving bazzile and repro1 at the moment
For Techno I mess around with my own arpeggio till it sounds dope
That's what made my Techno better

How dare you claim ears and skills are more important than tools here on KVR? The most flexible to cover the widest range of sounds is Zebra i'd say. However, Hive could also be a good choice, it has a nice gritty dirty sound engine, but can also be clean and razorlike sharp. The sequencer and the flexible fx make it a very nice synth for daily needs.
Like layzer and others already said, with synth programming skills, you can get nice techno sounds fairly easy out of any u-he synth.
