Well, neither Groove Agent One, nor SE show up in the included plugins here (and Groove Agent One is the old version anyway): https://www.steinberg.net/en/landing_pa ... nload.html And considering Cubase went 64-bit only with version 9, i guess it is at least fair to assume that Groove Agent One won't be supported by newer versions anymore. Maybe Guillermo can comment on that.
Just checked in my old Keys magazine BTW, which came with Cubase LE 5, and, LE 5 didn't have Groove Agent One included at all. It only came with Halion One. No idea where you got Groove Agent One from.

My Cubase 5 LE (came with my soundcard many moons ago )doesn't have Groove Agent - but during the installation process of LE 9 it ask me about it so isn't that weird after installation not to be in the the list...anyway i don't really need it because i make my own drums and will use le9 for demos... actually i think its again market pressure to pay for le update - it's mall conception - go for one,buy two :)Cheerz

Cubase LE is part of the LE/AI/Elements family which is delivered as a single combined package. If you simply do a default installation you get everything installed even if your particular license doesn't allow you to use it. This applies to Groove Agent, Prologue, the extra effects and the extended content for HALion SE and the new sampler track. I guess Steinberg's thinking is that if you decide to upgrade to Elements you won't have to install anything else after you've activated the license.
I think Groove Agent One has been included in the LE/AI/Elements package since version 6 and was replaced by Groove Agent SE as of version 8 (with Groove Agent One being available as a separate install if you still need it). As far as I know it still works with Cubase 9.

Hi,
Best regards,
GN
It is basically what swatwork said, the installer for Cubase Elements 9/AI and LE is the same, so you will have to install Groove Agent SE as well but you will only be able to use it once you have activated or upgraded the license to Elements; The license will unlock the most advanced features.VELLISLAV wrote:My Cubase 5 LE (came with my soundcard many moons ago )doesn't have Groove Agent - but during the installation process of LE 9 it ask me about it so isn't that weird after installation not to be in the the list...anyway i don't really need it because i make my own drums and will use le9 for demos... actually i think its again market pressure to pay for le update - it's mall conception - go for one,buy two :)Cheerz

I have to get out to Guitar Center, bit of PITA, to buy a dongle for Cubase Pro, so I have launched AI... 'cannot remove audio stream from video' in Replace Audio in Video. I have experienced this once before, I forget when but it then worked. Several tries yesterday, no joy.
I saw, and couldn't really confirm this assertion that Steinberg are killing that feature. Well it's still in File menu. This is intolerable if it's going to keep failing. I have the notion to go back to 0.2 but it's a time-consumer and I don't know if it would do anything.
internet search and a number of people experienced it over all the Cubase versions they've made for some time now, and some Nuendo versions (although I doubt that makes any difference). It worked 99.99 % of the time in C5 for me.

I believe that Steinberg have said that this feature will reappear in a later update. It's a consequence of dumping the reliance on QuickTime, which is no longer required.jancivil wrote:I have to get out to Guitar Center, bit of PITA, to buy a dongle for Cubase Pro, so I have launched AI... I suppose they could have waited until the video engine was more functional...

Yeah, so I suppose I'll go back to the earlier version. Cubase Pro 9.02 did it right every time here.
thanks for that, it does kind of follow that they broke it moving off of QT. Which I think was stupid but they have to please the people that hate it which outnumber me
