PONCHARELLO
A band between stoner, energetic rock and metal.
Cool gig. Saw them live this week in France.

Love this album. I used to never listen to the 2nd LP/CD (usually being too exhausted after the 1st one), until I saw 'The Musical Box' do the TLLDoB album a few years ago. If you ever get the chance to see them, go. They are as close to seeing Genesis in their prime as it gets. They're also from my hometown.Numanoid wrote:The Lamia, those piano breaks are so beautiful, makes me think how my elders, in their adolescence would live their lives in the fall of '74

Song as history lesson. You have to know the history to 'get' the twist in the final verse. And many Russians still revere Stalin....

I must be getting old, starting to enjoy songs like Mandolin Rain (Bruce Hornsby & The Range)
But at the same I think the main riff could easily be remixed into an EDM stormer, it is very uplifting
