I'm slowly working on a vocalist... uses about 30% of the data now.

So, the vocalist I've mentioned a few times in this thread is now out, free, and an entry in this year's Developer Challenge. Here are a couple of snippets of songs our graphic designer (who's also done Shreddage demos for Impact Soundworks) has been working on:

Some of the distortion entries also look like they should be of interest to virtual metal producers. One of them even has a red-haired witch on the GUI, too.

Thanks for the info.
Tune track has released 3 new expansion packs for Ezmix 2
Guitar gods 4
Bass beasts

Not really impressed with Chocolate Audio's Uproar RAW.. but sampled pre-amped, cab'd & distorted libraries are kind of limited. Plus, it's pure power chords.. and I'm not really liking the overall tones they sampled. Would be good for quickly running off some Metal accents to compliment other styles of music though.. orchestral/cinematic and whatnot. For that alone, I would consider it.

Anyway.. here's one of my latest:

Uproar does have a DI feature.

(I bought it after a few days of it being released, for the record)

However, yes, it's playability is extremely limited. It seems like it's geared toward throwing together a quick djent track. I would love if an "expanded/advanced" version was released that had the playability of Shreddage, V-Metal and other libraries. I like the DI tone more than I like the tone in Dracus and RealEight (the two other 8 string libraries).

Can you post something? User demos are important.
The intro price ends today.

This is awesome Rick. Are you still using Electri6ity and guitar rig. What else are you using.
What about bass synths and drums?

The the thing I like about guitars that are sampled with distortion,is that,The sustained notes and chords sound better.
Long chords and notes with amp sims have a nasty break up.Think fried egg.

Yep. Electri6ity, Acou6tics and Guitar Rig on that one.

Used Superior Drummer and Scarbee Rickenbacker for drums and bass.

Synths were mostly NI's MASSIVE and Studio One's built in synth, Mai Tai.
