A definitive NO @EnochLight. Sorry but I do not like this idea at all.

Well at least there's a point that the preset browser should be rethought.
- Star system,
- favorites,
- immediate search in the field as you type,
- category are to much dance oriented or should be changeable.

As for me, i always go by the tree structure, the organize system doesn't appeal to me.
But this may be personal ofcourse Manuel.

- Star system, - will come
- favorites, - will come
- immediate search in the field as you type, - we have to check if possible
- category are to much dance oriented or should be changeable. - you can already define ANY category, just rename the folder. The first two characters are being used to form the categories shortcut

Extremely disappointing to hear. Oh well, thanks for considering. I’m currently trialing Dmitry’s new Thorn and its “browser” is infuriating. You can’t even navigate with your QWERTY arrows at all!

I suppose we should be thankful we at least have some functionality in Avenger.

Well is a really, really long shot in terms of reliability and programming efforts, but for the devs:

I really have no idea how much space this would take but 1-2 GB is peanuts for such an option.

Offer a checkbox for the user to enable caching of presets' audio preview (for example a C3 for 3 seconds long - or whatever makes sense).

As they browse the presets (with arrows) with this option on, Avenger loads the preset, plays it and builds the wav cache. As the cache is built, more and more presets will be played directly from cache preview (a simple sample playback). Furthermore, each time a preset is modified (with cache set to on) the preview is automatically generated and modified. And of course, each time a new preset is created, same thing.

Is kind of like generating "thumbnails" in photo world. Maybe even an option to batch generate the preview for the entire preset collection (with a warning of how much space is needed for the number of presets that would be processed). This can work even with the sequences.

For anyone with the option off, nothing changes.

Edit: to end this fantasy on a complete note: the cache folder could have an option to limit it's size to a certain GB size and when is full to delete the oldest previews with no or lowest star rating and and button to clear it entirely.

question can we route the granular env to the filter so I can record some wobble effect. if not it would be great to add a record buttom for the mod env

Yes, it works. Can't understand why didn't you tried it before asking :?:

Really?? The Granular XP expansion was pretty sweet (though not as sweet as what Reason's new Grain offers, IMHO).

I got to ask again - seems I'm lost here.

There is no folder "skins", there are no skin files. I just don't get it. :?
