Biggest wish would be to turn logic from a toy into a Pro DAW. Ok sounds harsh, but beside all these wonderful features to play with it has, I would also like to edit recorded music, you know the kind of music you play with acoustic instruments. For this kind of work, Logic is a bad joke...

If only the waveform display would come close to somthing you get information out, especially if zoomed in, I would be happy. Even better if they would have an option for an exponential waveform display. The only DAW I know which is capable of that is Ardour/Mixbus. Hard competition, I know...

And please do not treat all selected parts if I am zoomed in to trim the beginning of an edit... This can destroy a lot of work without notice (no problem to hold a shift key in the unlikely event I would really want to trim all...)

Logic should learn to not drive me crazy...

I do like their synths. The majority is MPE compatible, but why restrict them to Logic and Mainstage? Please get rid of that restriction...

I limit my wishlist to those issues which have to be resolved first, before enhancing the toy factor (meant in a positive way, I love to toy around)

Logic automation is outdated compared to Reaper AI or S1 drag&drop support + automation tools.

Yeah, Cubase in 9.5 finally got competing automation too, it's a joy working with it, Bitwig also.

All I REALLY want is better stability and new GUI for all these outdated plugins.
Being able to enter automation values from keyboard would also be nice, but this can wait

Midi out from plugins. Waves Ovox now has Midi out capability which is truly awesome. Wish you could use it in Logic .
