Here is a quick tutorial I made on how to reduce frequency masking easily and somewhat transparently. I hope it helps.

Nice video,
I use ProQ2 nowadays for some matching between tracks but that is not dynamic,
so I will also try MAutodynamic EQ, as I have done a few times before.
For vocals vs instruments I use 'parameter modulation' in Reaper, vocals triggers the gain of ReaEQ band, which is in fact the same.
You got some good videos, subscribed.
