Found this on Rekkerd last night, fully featured (in fact paid version) demo on website and was demoing it this morning. Seems to be a bit of a learning curve in determining what resonances, drive and register in terms of some quite brutal speaker thrashings so keep the gain low when making adjustments (or use a limiter). Made a simple generative patch using MIDI devices in Ableton and tested out some different sound sources under the filter but seems promising, although I guess you can get similar effects with certain vocoders.

Been doin this kinda thing with filter plugs for a long ass time. Nothin new... but I can appreciate the trick being made brain dead easy now with just one plug instead of tuning the damn things and running a ton in parallel for poly. Might grab this one when I need that sound again but it's either vocoders or reso noise pads when I do so I dunno.

Didn't know about this plugin.
Looks very well designed and easy to use. Simple but effective concept.
I'm honestly not really an expert on vocoders but this type of narrow-Q bell filter produces a very distinctive sound which I didn't have the chance to hear with a vocoder before. But as I said, not a vocoder expert.
Definitely not a bread-and-butter type of FX, cannot be abused... but certaintly really nice tool to pull out some unusual and interesting stuff.
On top of that... totally unlimited demo AND money back guaranteed?
If I was offering 100% unlimited demo I definitely wouldn't give money back to bitching customers, that's for sure.
As of today, I think they deserve all the support.

That was exactly my thought as soon as I saw that on their site. Honestly, they should re-think that one.Niowiad wrote: On top of that... totally unlimited demo AND money back guaranteed?

Downloading now, will check it out.

Didn't understand how to use and what are the demo limitations

No demo limitations, no time limit, no feature limits. The demo basically "is" the paid version and they're kindly asking to pay for people who intend to use it.Turello wrote:Didn't understand how to use and what are the demo limitations
As for usage, it may depend on the DAW. In Reaper I've seen it can be used as a insert FX (receiving a midi input from a keyboard) put on an audio track... such as a drum loop, a synth part, an entire song or whatever.
You play notes on the keyboard and the plugin boosts the audio signal on those specific frequencies/notes.
On "0% Dry" you hear silence until you play notes. On "100% Dry" you only hear the original audio. Values in-between let you blend between the two and you can eventually hear the original audio with the boosted frequencies/notes you're playing.
Love your avatar and the video it is taken from, btw

Haven't had much time to put it through its paces yet but did see that it could also work as a notch filter too which I'm guessing might be quite handy in reducing competing frequencies (e.g. your melody line could momentarily reduce those frequencies on chordal or pad material. Worth some experimentation I thinkNiowiad wrote:No demo limitations, no time limit, no feature limits. Reminds me of the old dfx rez synth. Cool!

I would prefer the same concept but with flangers, choruses and delay
Oh... Please developers, do a multi effect with a midi keyboard !

Please someone, tell me the name of it
Of course I know we can create melodies with any effects controlling their frequencies with automation (as I did several times with hardware fx units in the 90's) but it could be awesome to be able to do it with a midi keyboard and instant correctly pitched notes...

There are a few other similar tools as well. Normally you could achieve this if FX let you use keytracking f.e.
And to topic....Filter Organ looks nice
