Well, where to begin? This kind of music really isn't in my wheelhouse so I'm speaking purely from a personal "how it affected me" point of view.
I felt the intro (1:30) was a little long. I get this is probably a genre thing, but for me it took too long to start going somewhere. From there, it started to evolve but then the last couple of minutes seemed to reach a plateau and level off and not really go anywhere from there. Personally, I would have liked more melody (lead) work but I get this is probably a genre thing. The mix seemed fine. And it certainly got full towards the end. So the piece probably did what it was supposed to do.
I will say this. On a personal level, it did unnerve me a bit. That's a good thing. Lots of music evokes little or no emotion at all. But this truly creep'd me out a bit. I imagined lying in a hospital bed slowly dying. So kudos to evoking some emotion along the way.
Not my personal cup of tea but as the genre goes, probably considered well done. I wouldn't know because I'm not big into this stuff.
I'm sure there are others more qualified to comment on it.

It's a big departure from your Sonic Charge-fuelled jams, though I'd be surprised if there isn't a sneaky instance of Permut8 responsible for the moving undercurrent.
Really love the slow-burn. All sounds great to me.

Hey thank you for taking the time to listen. I really appreciate your thoughts and comments. Love your honesty too.I am glad I evoked some emotion, even if it was unnerving.wagtunes wrote:Well, where to begin? Hi Bully. great to hear from you again!
This is a cool track. It is slow but urgent at the same time... Nice.
Well done!

As always ,thank you for taking the time to listen and your comments. Your right, there is a little Permut8 and a some Echobode but that's it for SC . I am working on a SC only track but I have been so busy lately .el-bo (formerly ebow) wrote:It's a big departure from your Sonic Charge-fuelled jams, though I'd be surprised if there isn't a sneaky instance of Permut8 responsible for the moving undercurrent.

I'm only guessing, but I think that "bubbling drone" during the intro has been Permut8ed. The lead that appears at 2:17 is gorgeous, and the bass is just right. This would make great soundtrack material for an epic SciFi movie. Great build throughout.
Good work

Wonderfully moody sound design. Like shapes shifting in the fog.
I enjoyed the slow build but at the 4 minute mark or so I was hoping for drums or some additional developments but I am not that into pure ambient.
Nice job.

Nice one, intro is not too long, it needs all the time you gave it. We need to slow down in this way too busy world...

Thank you for taking the time to listen. I really appreciate your thoughts and feedback. To be honest it's kind of unusual for me not to throw some drums in somewhere but there's always room for improvementFrantz wrote:Wonderfully moody sound design. Like shapes shifting in the fog.

Half way through was waiting for a drop and a medley, or some change to give it proportion.,
Oh, didn't know this is Ambient.
Never mind.

Thank you guys for all the comments and feedback. I really appreciate it. I never really get hung up on genres and rules so a track/song is what it is to me . Saying that.. I have took on board what some users have said here and made a tiny change and added some breaks towards the end (experimental at this point). Hope you like it and thank's again, especially Tim for his kind words and pointers

I like the new additions, especially the drums. They are a great fit.
