LOL! Not good if you are in the middle of something!Uncle E wrote:Presonus told me you will get your version 3 license back by May 30.dzilizzi wrote:Edited - it seems installing version 4 deletes version 3 authorization. So if you are in the middle of a project, it would be a very bad thing.
Not a problem for me though, I don't have it yet. But I am sure thinking about it since it has a chord track and Studio One is easier to use than Cubase.

I have to agree, I bought the 08N2 bundle over MPS thinking I could upgrade later if I wanted, but the upgrade pricing is based on one advanced product only. I own Trash 2, RX5, and Ozone 8, Neutron 2 at this point. Along with other products of theirs. It would be nice if they considered how many other products you owned of their bundles instead of this one product deal..shonky wrote:Thanks for checking Eric but my original comment was voicing bemusement at izotope's "targeted" upgrade offers, don't really have any great need for VS2. I bought MPB2 as it was oddly enough the cheapest route to upgrade to Ozone from Neutron, didn't have much need for Nectar or Vocalsynth, and still don't really. I think including the initial purchase of Neutron and the upgrade, MPB2 cost me around £250, upgrade from MPB2 to MPS is currently $299-399 with voucher even though I purchased within a few months of MPS being released.Uncle E wrote: They're surprisingly easy going about these things. There's even a semi-secret Creative Suite Competitive Crossgrade for $199 that you crossgrade to from literally any other manufacturers' products:

You also qualify for the $79 VocalSynth 2 Upgrade from VocalSynth 1:

Might bite if they ever release Iris 3 but got most bases covered with what I already have

You should contact Izotope. I wrote to them a couple of weeks ago about the Vocalsynth 2 upgrade, they told me to wait for the release. That's when I found out yesterday that I got a free upgrade to Creative Suite. I already had MPB 1, upgraded to MPB 2, then upgraded to O8N2 bundle. I already owned some of the products of the Creative Suite.machinesworking wrote:I have to agree, I bought the 08N2 bundle over MPS thinking I could upgrade later if I wanted, but the upgrade pricing is based on one advanced product only. I checked. They said that they do honor the 10%. And you still get the BestCoin. But you have to let them invoice you so it adds a bit of a delay in the process. If this is what you want to do I suggest to contact them before you make to purchase just to make sure.Feelshallright wrote:I wrote to Best Service in the past. My guess is that if you want to buy 3 Heavyocity products, they might give you the extra 10% off if you contact them about that.Fleer wrote:Yeah, saw that, thanks. And there’s a $11 BestCoin loyalty starting credit. On the other hand, Heavyocity gives you an additional 10% off if you buy 3 products (like those Gravity packs at $49 each). Decisions, decisions.mgw38 wrote:Bestservice has it. And they now have a bonus point program they call BestCoin. Worth a look.Fleer wrote:Any third party action on that 10-day Heavyocity sale?
