How realistic can a Virtual Solo Viola sound?

I don't think it's even dementia, it's just losing SOME of it, in the short term memory department.
I have three things called Périphériques; the second one was the first one to happen. So in a single Cubase project, it's left-to-right. Once I'd finished #2 it clearly worked better as #1. So now I'm screwed!
Once I had a remix of... one of them; one of them , the other one was not on my system, as supposedly redundant. And it was a better version than I had up at youtube! So I had to download my own video, to go back and make it better again. But, I'm going to make a new Cubase project in any case like this in future, so I'm not a complete idiot yet I suppose.
So while this was a bit disconcerting, it's hardly a new issue.
