I can open it in cubase SX2 build 35.annode wrote:Vst is Steinberg...but...it doesn`t open in a Steinberg host.

But not multitimbral in the sense that i have dedicated mixer chanels in cubase itself for every output with deficated fx.
The only host that seems to create controllable seperate outputs from ZASF is Podium
I have to admit that ZASF opens in a non convential way > in it's own window that stays open.

Using nuendo here.It`s updated,but will not see it as a bonafied vsti.
So it`s not in the vst list.
I see it way down the list that shows every thing in my vst folder...forget now what that list is called...it`s in SX as well.
That section of that list are things that don`t run.
Thanx anyway.

Please test this file:
http://zynaddsubfx.sourceforge.net/zynaddsubfx_vst.dll
and tell me if it works. It might be possible that all loading problems should be solved (zynaddsubfx set a wrong vst ID).
Thanks.

Thanx Paul.
Will write back and tell you how it worked out when I`m able to re-write the file in.

Sorry I took so long to reply...but I just now got the chance to try the new .dll.
Real happy to say...it WORKS WELL NOW in chainer...and i`m sure it will work well in nuendo.
Good job Paul!!
Thanx so much...will use the plug soon in a :music cafe" song soon I hope,and will call the tune by the instruments name so you will see it.

Well...I spoke too soon.
It still will crash nuendo.
This is what I did;
Wrote over old .dll in vst/ZynAddSubFX folder.
Opened nuendo.
Zyn was not on my instruments list.
Copied GC.dll from zyn folder and pasted into windows directory folder.
Re-opened nuendo.
Zyn was now in list.
Selected Zyn to open.
Crashed nuendo as the older .dll also had.

UPDATE;
Untill I deleted the GC.dll from the windows folder and restarted pc....nuendo would crash while scanning the vst folder on startup.

I somehow remember seeing someone say that they had gotten ZynAddSubFX VST to run under Cubase SX2.
Can anyone who has tried to do this (newest versino of ZynAddSubFX VST with Cubase SX2) relate their experiences?
