How to stop Program slots opening region view on playback?

Long time HALion user, really liking the TX16Wx on first try after a friend told me about it.
With the GUI open and the project playing, the program slots seem to open and close with note on events, resulting in it being unusable while the track is playing.
Is this normal behaviour, or did I mess up some setting?
I've checked the manual, gone through the settings, but I'm stumped for a solution.
Thanks in advance.

You probably turned on MIDI select. (The midi connector icon button on the right side of the top toolbar).

Thanks, but I've tried toggling that and it didn't appear to do anything.
I'm also just now having a weird bug where any dialogue popups pop under the main GUI, and also I can't type names into the GUI because the keys are still being mapped to Cubase shortcut keys.
For example, I try to rename a module "Shakers" and cubase settings open because I hit "shift + s"

Again, the only thing I can think of that will open editors by MIDI is midi select. Doing regular MIDI in cubase does not cause any unexpected events for me.
On the keyboard issue, yeah, as much as I hate to say it, it seems to be a regression (probably from fixing broken keyboard input in ableton). I've fixed it, and a new build is up. Should work fine for VST2 + 3 now.

Wow, that's some pretty amazing support!
The new version fixed everything except the dialog boxed popping under the plugin GUI.
At first I thought the plugin was crashing, but then I realised there was a dialogue box waiting to be clicked underneath.
Tried turning off the "always on top" setting in Cubase, but no change.
For example, I drag a sample onto a region and a dialog box pops up about the root key, but it's behind the GUI, so I need to move the plugin out of the way, click cancel (is there a better way to drop untuned drum samples onto a note?) and then move the plugin back to where it was, (then manually set the root key).

Just turn off the token based auto mapping feature. You can always run it manually after initial mapping.

Btw, turning off "always on top" for the TX window in cubase will make cubase stop moving the TX window in front of the dialog.
Not sure how to make it understand to _not_ rearrange child windows.

New build up that should prevent dialog windows from being moved to back.
