Os,
I'm likely sending this to the wrong person as it might not be an ES issue but ignorance of sound fundamentals that I don't understand.
When I send my mix out to the ES-6 (paired to the ES-8 and ES-3) in mono there's a lot of low frequencies that don't come across but if I patch that signal into a stereo pairing that I configured in Bitwig's Audio Interface I get bombastic bass. I would have expected the same signal regardless if it were mono or stereo. Any thoughts?
Sound difference between mono & stereo

Sorry Os, this shouldn't have been to you. I just saw that if I pan the mono channel left or right the bass comes up heavy. So now I don't understand why that is but I do know this has nothing really to do with how I configure ES devices for mono or stereo.

Sounds like the left and right signals are out of phase, so you're getting cancellation in the bass when summed to mono.
