Mac FL Studio won't load windows created FLP templates correctly, newer VST versions fail to load at all.

Purchased FLP templates won't load newer VST versions cross platform (or even same version cross platform.) The plugins have been scan/verified by me and by the producer (in the past this isn't the first time I've run into this issue). I've tried renaming my VSTs to have a similar name, and symlinked to the correct name with the current version, none of which works. I can add the VSTs in question manually via replace in the channel rack but the VST loads at default losing the preset settings. Why not set up a way to import the preset, automation, etc, or fix the file format so it just works the way it should?

In case you need an example, it's saying Spire_x64v1.0.13(VSTi) Missing, however, I have Spire-1.5 AU 64 and VST 64 installed. Spire is functional when I replace it.
