Just stumbled across this, a huge step forward of Camomille and even of PD itself, because it has its own GUI which isn't Tcl/Tk anymore.
Seems to work fine in Bitwig/Mojave...

Got a new toy, have no time, lets discuss later...; - )

Well, Cycling did it long ago, but when Ableton bought into Cycling it was abandoned. Ableton needed M4L, and if you could still create Pluggos, it would destroy that business model…
I still have a Pluggo license, but it can’t work together with newer versions of Max…

You know you can also use https://github.com/Wasted-Audio/hvcc to build Pd patches into audio plugins?

(I know, I know, it's more limited and requires a bit more technical skills, but you can build quite efficient binary plugins with it that even run on embedded platforms and tons of other possible integrations

)

I kind of want to make a variant of PlugData that only provides the same objects as HVCC and then allows you to "export" to source or a binary plugin .. maybe next year.

At 5:35 PlugData can host VST's.
Wow!
So it is a plugin that can host plugins.
It can also run as a stand-alone and can host plugins.

Why so little interest in PlugData?
