I'm wondering why the factory Programs (?) are stored in a not-really-accessible location, that is: inside the Component package ?
/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/ >crusher-x.component>Contents>Resources
(everything after the .component itself is not directly accessible (unless the user knows how, with "Show Package Contents"), which is also inaccessible to the Finder's search function)
Aren't the factory presets supposed to be located inside the /Library/Audio/Presets/application/ folder ?
And the user patches in the /Users/username/Library/Audio/Presets/accSone/ folder ?
(though that is debatable; user presets can generally be saved to anywhere)
And where are the DCO's Factory samples stored ?
cheers,

Hi,
all factory patches and samples are compiled into the code. They are not accessible from the file system.
To add own factory sounds to the sample selection popup menu, you can use the "Audio Folder" setting (Global Settings Editor)
