Round Robin for TAL-Sampler, and/or MIDI Key Range for TAL-Drum?

Apologies for a conspicuous feature request.

A key aspect in creative sampling is being able to play a sample from different pitches. This allows, among other things, to make higher-pitched drums sound like larger, lower-pitched ones, and so on.
A nice addition to that is Round Robin capability. It allows for experimentation with pitch while retaining "humanizing" benefits of using several samples.

As far as I have tested, currently (January 2024) neither TAL-Sampler nor TAL-Drum allow both Round Robin and pitching at the same time. Specifically, TAL-Drum allows only one MIDI KEY for a sample, while TAL-Sampler has no Round Robin option (despite having four LAYERs).

The "Make chromatic" macro in TAL-Drum makes up for that somewhat, but appears to be limited to +-24 semitones while complicating the pad setup (as each pitch requires its own pad).

My suggestions are as follows:
  • for TAL-Sampler, a LAYER Round Robin capability: it would cycle or select randomly (with "not same as previous", obviously) from LAYERs A, B, C, D. The simplest implementation would plainly RR between LAYERs, including a LAYER in RR set if it has anything at all mapped to the incoming MIDI key.
  • for TAL-Drum, an option for pads to have a MIDI KEY RANGE instead of only one MIDI KEY, with a setting to either obey MIDI pitch or ignore it.
That would allow things like combining non-pitching attack/snap sound with a pitching drum body sound (while using only two pads for that).
...and obviously, both features would open more doors for general experimentation :)
