Hi,
It's not an often needed feature of mine, but it would be great if Mulab would support a tempo free recording mode, where the midi and / or audio items that are recorded are not stretched / compressed when tempo is altered, but they keep their position and distance between notes intact.
Even a simple toggle button for ignore tempo of the midi / audio part would suffice to begin with.
Thanks for considering

Hi Michael L., tried that, If you then change the tempo, midi part changes the speed at which part is played, which is expected when everything is tied to a clock. What's really needed when you're recording live with a variable tempo is to freeze the timing of the clip or a track and create a tempo map around the recording, not the other way around.
