I did my best,tested many demos,many times tried to like some of most popular ones and to justify the money i have to spend...maybe i miss the right place where to put them,i don't know,just my point of view is - if can't use a synth or fx in first 5 min demoing it and to have results,it's waste of time and money,that's my process of work and logic...test...buy...use...

Sure, you're right, don't buy if it isn't doing it for you. Honestly, if your preferences are Sylenth1, Massive, Vital, and Serum, it's no wonder you're not interested in analog emulations.

No you don't,but if somebody sell me an apple juice and label it as grape for 150 euro to me this is at least disappointing ...

Statistics show that higher consumption is in children for lower income, black and Hispanic communities. If they're marketing to old white people, it's just trying to tap a new market.
So this raises a question of whether software companies are just trying to tap new markets of those fantasizing of, but with no real talent or persistence to develop a skill.

There was a report a few decades ago that stated the only two businesses that did well in recessions were liquor stores and music stores (mainly guitars). Which is why we see so many as a living room decoration that no one plays...

I use Diva all the time for bass, bass isn't something that needs a "modern" sound in every song here, analog bass sounds stand the test of time like a hardware snare drum sound does IMO.

I fully agree, and I use it mostly for that. But most of the time, I go to phase plant, avenger 2 or subboombass2, they also do has very well.
And when I want a "creamy" bas, my first reflex is obsession, not diva. (I am sure diva could make it too but obsession is just faster for me).
I have the legend too but I am not into Moog sound.

Mostly the voice modulation sound in the Memorymoog is fairly unique and great to program, it's not a vintage sound, it's a technique for synthesis, it's like saying all subtractive synthesis and DX7 style FM is out of date and only modern techniques can be used.

I agree also and I am not saying that. But these synthesis technique are not mainstream as say FM or granular or spectral. So it is more for"specialist" as I was saying. (Me saying it is for specialist doesn't mean it isn't useful, it is just a law of diminishing returns).

I hate this acronym, it stinks. I hate influencers for popularizing gearhead culture, they're all whores. I laugh at everyone who wants to go 'dawless' and then menu dive a 3 inch LCD screen for an hour to pretend they're somehow more productive.

No one cares what gear I use online because no one knows who I really am but let me tell you I've been using trackers successfully since the beginning. I've been sampling, using softsynths and a majority of my 'studio' is in the box and free/cheap. If anyone out there tells you to buy something more expensive they're either a salesman or a sullen child who has to resort to being a braggart to make friends.

Half the tracks people pump out are uninspired, color-by-number templated throwaway garbage and I blame these GASfluencers for leading an entire generation astray. No one cares whats in your home studio except jealous people who watch too many vids but don't make any tunes. We were this close to getting rid of the retrofetishist analog elitist gatekeepers and then along came HD video.

Well, I don't fully agree (and don't fully disagree neither on some of your points).

But it seems to be a little point you forgot.
The fun aspect.

If people (certainly not me) prefer to go through a 3 inch LCD, why does it upset you ?
It can be a fun way to do things...

I mean even in corporates life, the fun when doing a job is a factor of productivity and efficiency, why do you want to take this out from music ?
If people prefer to buy 15 plugins when they could have done the same with one (but with less fun) why do you care ?

Most of the people in this forum (and I would bet that most of the people, period), know perfectly that they are buying some plugins not because of utilitarian aspect but because they are fun.

People get their music published who use all free plugins, and people also use entire warehouses of hardware. The "rules" of what becomes popular and what is good music went away decades ago.

GAS and influencers are kind of gross, I'll give you that. There is no "must have" plugin that will make writers block go away, and participating in and alternately writing a Song A Day challenges is a good habit to kill writers block, but why do so many people think they should release them?
