I reconfigured my studio about a year ago with a GEEKOM Mini IT12 (i7-1260P 32GB RAM+1TB SSD) and an Yamaha AG06 audio interface. My needs are simple but so far it's been working great. Full disclosure: My studio time has been pretty limited due to various family obligations over the last 9 months, so I haven't yet expended a lot of effort on tweaking.
You can twist perceptions, reality won't budge.
