I just updated from the version 3.5.? to the recent 3.6 version. Now the sampler ist called "TX16Wx". In my running project in cubase the instrument is called "TX16Wx (legacy id)". Therefor the instrument could not be found. I'm able to map the updated "TX16Wx", but the settings of the bank (is was saved) and programs are not in the current stage.
Do you have any good advice?

I managed the problem some how, by loading the cubase projekt on anothe pc with an old tx16W-version. There I saved carefully all settings of the instrument again (seemed that not all the programs were saved before), and load them in the project with the updated TX16W.

The legacy ID version is still part of the normal install. Not sure why you would not see it after an upgrade.
