MACG in Cubase, how?

Hi everybody, hope you are all good.
i need some help, im trying to set up MACG in cubase but really cant find a way to do it.
i want to add a distortion plugin in a a channel and want MACG to auto gain compensate (distorsion plugin has no output level), how can i do that?

Basically, what MAGC does is to make it's own output match the volume of the side-chain input.
So you need only one instance directly after the distortion plugin. Then use the undistorted signal as the side-chain input.
I don't have Cubase anymore, so I can't give you step by step instructions.
