I like the look of this little JT2 module thingy. I'm not into modulars & will have to wait for the real thing, but I particularly like the way they put lights on the sliders as in the B2600. I really hope they do that on the JT16 . As we all know very well - moar lights on a synth make it betterer in every way.

A JT-16 I would probably throw myself at

- at least if expanding on memory locations to 500 or so
- Roland D-05 did as compared to D50
So continue playing with names in Behringer style
- Ubiter 16
But learning from Pro-800 it might be 3 years or so away.

Why oh why do these B-things need to light up like a christmas tree?
Are faders with a LED really cheaper in bulk than regular ones?

How else will we see it when we're making music in our caves?

Absolutely. TBH I think they need to put lights on the knobs as well. I wouldn't be averse to having lights on the switches with a green for ON and red for OFF.

I kind of like lit controls too.
- but with settings how strong down to turning it off
Korg Opsix and Roland JDXa and similar. Very handy in a not fully lit room.
- If I remember correct JDXa you could choose color too, but not sure
But I have three pedals on floorboard that has such strong leds that it makes iris in eye contract and you cannot read text on panel of pedal.
- so had to put layers to adhesive tape over to dim it

Yeah, I quite liked the look of the JDXa, although not sure about the red/orange colour on the backlights - looked a bit like it was on fire inside. Green wouldn't work because it'd look like it had a witchy spell going on or some kind of Slytherin' curse. Purple's OK - Opsix got their lights right.
