Hey guys and gals, I'd appreciate some feedback on this mix: https://soundcloud.com/fc1985/crimson-r ... al_sharing
Yeah I can't sing for s*** but I wanted to try something different to the usual instrumental.

Vocals were Ok actually. They definitely add something. Their volume is a little low in the mix at times, but thats probably because you didn't want to promote them too much.
Some good moments in the arrangements. I'm a sucker for a guitar solo, so that scored big with me at the end.

frank1985,
Thank you for the review! Now your song: intro reminds me of Pink Floyd (a compliment); the rain helps. Vocals were OK with me too. The song wouldn't be the same without them. I like most of the rhythm guitar riffs. Lead guitar is good. Rock on!

I heard similarities to "Insurgentes" era Steven Wilson, in terms of the music, and the overall sound of the track. I also thought your vocals had an eerily similar sound to Mr. Wilson in places, as did the guitar solo. To summarise, I liked it.
Good work
