Take a look at Virtual Riot's latest video on all things color-bass. He uses a bunch of morphing plugins and techniques, Morph and Pitchmap among others.

zerocrossing wrote: Fri Jan 06, 2023 12:53 am I just used Transmulator to morph my voice and a sample of an otter screaming (part of a sea monster scream) and I found the results pretty good. I automated the morph control for some extra movement and I was pretty happy with the results.
Couldn't find that via google, who makes it?

Ah, cheers. I googled and found nothing, too... 'mut' not 'mul'
Sorry, poor eyesight.

Crossfading, not really morphing
Not really true. There are some modes that are fairly simple, but a few that are definitely doing a lot more than crossfading.

Yes I see that it refers to various 'blend modes' but it doesn't seem to be morphing as in something like Zynaptiq morph or Alchemy (in morph mode). So more than simple crossfading but I don't see it claiming to be morphing.

I’m not saying that it’s doing the same thing as Zynaptic Morph or Alchemy, but you should try it. The “blend” modes are quite similar in their results as many morphing plugins.

The IRCAM business model is similar Bitwig. For $200 you can download all their ‘premium’ software for a year, including any updates and new apps. At the end of the year it all continues to work - no renewal necessary.

Post

its similar to bitwig but the price is also similar to bitwig for like 20 plugins when bitwig is a full daw with tons of updates.
The ircam business model is awful imho and most people agree

Post

Yeah, a DAW is a fundament, and you´d need to have only one.
FX usually means, one out of many.
Pay many times $200........and have a mac who´s OSupdates might break your old installation, and see how much that costs you over some years.
Buying my next mac, when out, they´ll provide me with a new OS automaticly. It´s a horror, haha
