Lord of the Rings Online had several programmable in-game instruments. Some players disliked this feature, with one forum commenter saying "I'm tired of having my immersion broken by some dumbf*ck playing Free Bird on the dwarven bagpipe"

LittleGPTracker comes to mind. I've been running it on a cheap Miyoo Mini. I accidentally stumbled upon it while looking into running the Dirtywave M8 headless. Pretty wild. Definitely a case of extreme limitations being a catalyst for unexpected creativity.
