I just picked up a Mackie EM 89D microphone time to replace this $10 junk mic boom arm I have now. Looking to spend $60 to $75 for a new desktop boom arm with screw adapter which boom arm do you recommend.

I grabbed this about 4 years ago and it's been solid with daily use and cheap:

Rode PSA1.

Might cost more than $75 but it's good.

At that price range, probably the On-Stage MBS5000 Broadcast Mic Boom Arm.

I'm also using the Rode PSA1 clamped to my desk. It's a quality product that I've had no issues with.

I've been using this one for a couple of years myself. It has worked well. It's not going to be up there with the Rode PS1 but it has worked well for me for the price.

I’m using an Elgato Wave

Broomstick and duct tape.

Extra mention for an Elgato Wave LP. It's at $100, just out of your range but I found for my desk setup, the lower profile arm doesn't block my computer screen like other arms can do. Definitely worth a look into if it suits your need!
