I had 8 crashes during VST scanning, but only one error indicates a crash ("Failed to scan"). Why aren't the other plugins listed that caused a crash?

Mine scans all my plugins, crashes, doesn't save any of them whenever I hit "scan all."

I tried just scanning for VST's and it worked, though.
