I had a Tibetan singing bowl that I ignored on a shelf for a long time and when I picked it up it was oddly cracked.

i had the same thing with a didgeridoo, split in the cold of winter.

do you live somewhere with excessive heat in summer, cold in winter?

also, which kind? metal or crystal/glass?

ive not had any issues with my few.
i still want a "fecking huge" one. mebbe 14/16 inches or so :)

I’m in the San Francisco area, where the coldest it gets is mid 40s and warmest in the 90s, but the majority of the time it’s in the 70s. It was a metal bowl, maybe bronze. It was in a room with a bunch of guitars and audio equipment that were all fine.
