ISW Presents: Shredder - The premier virtual instrument devoted *exclusively* to shredding
Impact Soundworks is pleased to announce the release of our latest virtual electric, Shredder - available now for FREE for Kontakt Player!
We’d like to think we’ve become something of an authority on sample libraries that shred. But how do we take it further? When we imagine the future of shredding, where else can we go?
For years, you've asked for something called "Shredder" — and who are we to deny the people what they want?
Presenting Shredder, a groundbreaking project two years in the making. We scoured far and wide for the most powerful shredder we could find, then carefully sampled every screech and whine with our usual obsessive care. Add a simple but effective range of tools and you've got everything you need to start shredding like a pro.

A SUPERB COLLECTION OF SHREDDABLE SOUND SOURCES

Choose your sound source, from the typical (cheese, paper) to the outlandish (CDs, the world's longest receipt). And we wouldn't be Impact Soundworks if we didn't shred a guitar (...pick or strings)!
  • Cardboard
  • Cheese
  • Compact Disc (CD)
  • Envelope
  • Manila Envelope
  • Foam Sheet
  • Guitar Pick 1
  • Guitar Pick 2
  • Paper
  • Thick Paper
  • Paper Plate
  • Receipt
  • Long Receipt
  • CVS Receipt
  • Nylon String
  • Steel String
And yes, before you ask, Shredder includes Round Robins:

Best of all, Shredder is absolutely 100% free, and, yes, it's compatible with the free Kontakt Player! Consider it our way of saying "thank you" this April 1.
We look forward to continuing to shred with you for years to come!

You don't write anything about the sound quality? I expect at least 192 khz at 64-bit. :)
