Company DescriptionSamples From Mars is a sample pack label located in Brooklyn, NY specializing in capturing the sounds of vintage and rare hardware drum machines, synthesizers, custom vinyl and more. We are now looking to transform these sample packs into plugins and VSTs.
Role Description
We're searching for a remote User Interface Designer for audio plugins and VSTs. Work will be contract based, on an as-needed basis.
The User Interface Designer will be responsible for creating an inspiring plugin GUI, developing wireframes and mockups that ensure a seamless user experience (UX). Bonus if you have experience in UX.
Qualifications
- 2+ years creating GUI for audio plugins or Kontakt Instruments
5+ years of Visual Design, User Interface and User Experience Design skills
Experience as a musician or music producer using software plugins, VSTs and hardware drum machines / synthesizers
Strong understanding of user experience (UX) principles
Proficiency in design software and tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator and Figma
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript a plus
Ability to work independently and remotely
Compensation:
