For a few weeks now it seems when I'm browsing with the explorer to my audio files it's taking several seconds for the empty window to populate with the list view of the audio files. Picture files and documents show up immediately as expected.
Like it's just taken 5 seconds to show me 15 samples.
Any ideas?

My advice would be to use dir opus and skip explorer all together.

That said, maybe some codec issue or security problem. It can be troublesome to figure out,
codecs are a good place to start probably. In the least you should probably try to clear your
explorer cache.

hi, thanks for this. It seems clearing the Explorer cache did it. I seem to remember I had done that before and there were only a few MB to clear. Maybe I did it before, things improved but it clogs up really quick again. Anyway, thanks for that!
