With the Cabinets feature it’s one of my favourite FX units using 3rd party FX.

Which 3rd party effects are you using?
I am aware of the PSP bundle.

My favourite VM developers are R_Ware, Playertron and Vult. The PSP bundle is a great deal in the sale too.

Probably my favorites too, although I occasionally can't resist also throwing a commercial VST effect into a VM patch using the Core Host modules to get a combination of both native and VST (crazy stuff can happen).

AAS Multiphonics CV-2 just got an FX version today with v2.2

CV-2 supported an FX mode on first release.
V2.2 adds 5 new modules.

Reason rack? We could debate what makes a modular, a modular, but you got pretty much any feature, audio cables, cv cables, and instruments, audio effects and midi effects (midi effects are not much modular though).

Cardinal has an FX version too and is free.

It's been a bit quiet over there. Hopefully VST3 support is in the works.
