Even if it's an old thread the link works fine and the product works fine too.
I use it in Kontakt Player so after 30 min it blanks out. For more info about this please read

Where can I find it? I have Cinematic Strings 2 but I can't locate it. It was apparently freely available for some time.

It's not in Cinematic Studio Series (which I imagine is what you are calling CS 2?), I believe it was in Cinematic Studios..
CSS was done in an entirely different studio and is an entirely different product.

Maybe email them and ask them.

edit: actually I just compared the Full Strings Staccato in CS and the the CS Monster Staccatos and they aren't the same...
so yeah email them and ask nicely
