You could get a similar one but not exacly because that patch uses paralell filters which sylenth is not capable of... yet (i hope)

Not sure what you mean here, but Sylenth1 does have parallel filters (Part A and Part B).adamtrance wrote:You could get a similar one but not exacly because that patch uses paralell filters which sylenth is not capable of... yet (i hope)
I don't have a virus, but if you have some samples of the original patch I could give it a try.thebutcher wrote:I was following this thread on u-he, just wondering if someone could recreate this patch on sylenth:)

*EDIT* There you go:

(first is Virus, second is Sylenth1)
And the preset (requires Sylenth1 v2.2):

Yes, but that's a low quality sample playing multiple notes simultaneously and layered with effects. The zebra version was made using the original dry single note virus patch. I don't have a virus so I don't have the privilege of looking into the exact way the original patch was made, but I could probably create something pretty close if I had some dry high quality single note samples of the original sound.thebutcher wrote:Here is the link to an mp3..first is the virus and the second is zebra

The Midi file of the example mp3 would be useful too btw.
Does anyone know if this patch is available in the Virus A, B, C, TI, anything else or only in the powercore version?

Since I dont have a virus either I copied the zebra2 parameters, someone could improve it if he wants.

Virus powercore does use same preset files from Virus A,B,Indigo etc. So for example you can install powercore version, load virus, find that Overture patch (it is there i have powercore version) and you will see every parameter there. Keep in mind that virus wont produce any sound since you dont have Powercore card. But you CAN load it without powercore card, i know since i tested this.Lennard wrote:Yes, but that's a low quality sample playing multiple notes simultaneously and layered with effects. I can tell you the patch OvertureCK was available on the Virus C. It was the first patch I looked for when I got my TI (I couldn't find it, but I soon loaded it up from a virus C bank.Lennard wrote: Does anyone know if this patch is available in the Virus A, B, C, TI, anything else or only in the powercore version?
I never owned a Virus B, but I have a file reporting to be a Virus B patch listing which lists A000=Overture CK, and I've seen other evidence it was on the virus B.
Unfortuneately, I can't post the samples you ask because I've since sold my Virus C and TI.

No, it wasn't! It's just Zebra's own oscillators. (You meant I used samples, right?)Lennard wrote:The zebra version was made using the original dry single note virus patch.
Exactly, a LP and a BP filter.adamtrance wrote:You could get a similar one but not exacly because that patch uses paralell filters which sylenth is not capable of... yet (i hope)
