g200kg - crashes pretty consistently - have to remember not to change the sizes!
I'm running a multi-core E6600 machine - could it be a thread related issue?
Anyway it's a stunning little piece of software! Looking forward to more updates...

Hi there...
* what is happen when crash (just freeze? or popup a access violation
alart?)
It pops up an alert - I can go into Visual Studio Debugger at that point but I only get the assembly language view - I guess if you have a version with debug information I could give you the line number...
* only the Black_Gear.knob crash? how about other file (especially that use 'RadialeLine' or not)
Other files crash too - ie Monotone_Simple.knob
It could be "RadiateLine" that causes the problem, however I just started a test knob from scratch and it seems to work ok....
EDIT: 10 minutes later it crashed resizing!

hi,g200kg wrote:thank you for many comments and suggestions.
all are interesting.
btw i found some bugs on 0.98
1) 'RadiateLine' is not work properly on non-square widget
2) 'Rect' width is wrong. it s/b 0-100% range
will be fixed next release.
BazzaTron,
in my environment, it does not cause crash but display broken image. probably same issue i think.
Rune L-H, 'KnobRender' author is here? great thanks for the comment

I am afraid that I am also getting some random crashes when changing the "Output Bitmap Size" or "Number Of Images". (using AMD 2x3800)
It looks like the KnobMan is more stable if I select all digits in one of the 3 entry-boxes mentioned, then type one digit and wait until the frames are rendered, the type the next digit and wait again until the frames are rendered ...

exactly it is a thread related issue you mentioned. especially use 'SpinButton', our CPU seems be defeated by piled jobs.

please try this. Preference page parameters are once buffered.
* and RotationMask is also done
* layer name is moved to menu (also r-click of tabs)
* visibility control is also implemented on r-click menu
may be in the case of width=2 issue? if not, please let me know (if not found a apropriate webspace, e-mail also ok)lalo wrote:i've noticed that in the last version the circle edges have some aliasing...where can i post an example project?

Version 0.99 works great! No more crashes. The "Set" button is a good idea.
I sent you a small donation (from barry.p501...) buy yourself a beer!
