Actually CLAP team likes to use the term "standard", whereas other plugin types are "platforms".

"standard" looks logical to me in this context. But, I am not a native English speaker and I also flunked at my native's language exams, so what do I know... You guys spend time defining that, I have no interest at all in taking part in that debate.
Anyway, I hope CLAP will lead the way to a more sustainable approach, in a present where ( in a general way ) all seems to be about programmed obsolescence and little progress.

Despite how fashionable it is to be fatalistic; I remain hopeful. And I keep my setup CLAP ready. But I'm not buying an electric car. I've gone as far as I desire to go. Bring on the Nolly Dinos!
