I think the more melodic parts that sort of pop up in this are really reminiscent of those old Vincent Price movies like "Theatre of Blood" and "Scream and Scream again". I like it.
The track has a good atmosphere, and the abrupt transitions make it stand out from the rest of the sickle collection. All of this along with a hint of SHPN = Grade A piece!
hmm. i think i need to come up with a rating system...
2 middle fingers up? neh...
ill keep working on it.

Very good.
But why the '666' in your artist name? Reminds me of geeky heavy metal/goth 'coolness'.

The high frequencies in this piece really f**k with my ears, but not unpleasantly, just a pretty strange experience. What do you mean by divination of patterns?rachmiel wrote:> Ah, yes..That irksome old drum/percussion problem.
you know i am with you when it comes to NOT being enchanted by most drum parts. but i love odd grooves, rhythmic flow. so i'm thinking more like clicks or impulses that proceed slowly, build a kind of field of beats that will engage the listener's analytical faculty, inspire him/her to divine patterns.
here's a good example of what i'm talking about:

listen to the way he engages your pattern diviner.

He means to discern patterns where none actually exist.krank wrote:What do you mean by divination of patterns?
