30's with synths became a thing for me around the time i started using synthedit, bits in robot discotheque and here and there. the high kingdom album is pretty much to do this well, which is why i'm giving myself several years to complete it
i'm not sure what it's worth saying about this style. "it's vital for me" or such :p

eg. there are god knows how many recordings of the mooche, this is the one i heard first. it's performed with very different qualities. this one has all its chakras aligned or something.
