I thought this was an excellent change of pace, and as usual with mix challenge, it really grew on me as I worked on it over the course of the month. In my head I heard a lot of depth on this, so I went in that direction. Now I wish I had a few more hours to work on the kick drum.

It's the 22nd November 7:20am. The first round of the Mix Challenge has officially ended.

We have 13 mixes, 4 of them being submitted hours after the deadline (Davias, Pitta, shoma and Zar9). Please take note of the rules regarding the challenge deadlines, even if I post later(!)

As usual, please check your links for functionality, update your posts with documentation (or not), and please watch this spot

Thanks everyone for all your entries, I'm glad you enjoyed the song .

I've been enjoying listening to all your mixes as they've come in and I'll be catching up with the last few and giving every one a last listen over the next day or so.

I had some serious problems with the equipment and drivers. so ti was hard to follow the deadline

My PC kept crashing constantly during mixing and I had a hard time to find out, that it happened because of a defective power supply. It's not that easy to get a new power supply on sunday
